OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our Schweinfurt based Appearence Design team, for 5-6 months. As an Intern you will be challenged with helping to create the visual identity of our components and product lines through the innovative use of color, material, finish selection and graphic design.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with our global in-house design team to develop appropriate designs for a diverse range of cycling products
  • Assist the design team in compiling market research information: color, finish, material & design trends
  • Collaborate with Industrial Design, Product and Brand Management  to craft the “look and feel” of our components
  • Create accurate production intent prototypes and/or renderings for presentation and reference purposes 
  • Collaborate with our Taiwan based Finish Engineering team to develop our next generation of color, finish, and graphic applications for production 

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • The ability to create compelling logos, custom type, graphics, textures, and icons
  • An understanding for how to apply 2D art on 3D forms
  • An eagerness to learn color, finish, and graphic production processes
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously 
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Detail oriented with strong work ethic
  • Proficient usind Adobe's Creative Suite
  • Experience in Keyshot or equivalent 3d rendering software encouraged
  • Fluent in Englisch and German (written and spoken)
  • Application requires a portfolio with work examples
