The purpose of this position is to create an exceptional environment for everyone by coordinating efforts relating to the overall cleanliness and appearance of the facilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum hallways, stairs, common areas and office spaces.
· Cleaning bathrooms, breakroom, kitchenette, waiting areas and other meeting spaces.
· Empty garbage containers, cardboard recycling.
· Washing interior windows and dusting when necessary
· Maintain building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
· Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
· Grounds keeping duties as assigned.
· Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
