Job Description

OVERVIEW:

  • ROLE: Senior Power Platform Engineer (SharePoint & Power Apps)
  • ROLE TYPE: Direct Hire
  • COMPENSATION: Up to around $130,000 base salary, depending on experience. The end client also provides an annual bonus of up to 9% based on company and individual performance.
  • FEE: Client pays 12% on base, so we could split that (6% to you after the candidate clears 60 days at the client).
  • WORK LOCATION: Garner, NC. Suburb of Raleigh, NC.
  • WORK ARRANGEMENT: 100% onsite at the location above. Some flexibility around start/end times is possible, but the role must be onsite 100%, Monday to Friday.
  • WORK AUTHORIZATION: The client cannot sponsor visa candidates; therefore, work authorizations must be held by U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents (Green Card holders), or Visas not based on employer sponsorship (such as visas sponsored by a spouse or relative).

DETAILS:

  • This role is responsible for owning and enhancing the organization's SharePoint Online and Microsoft Power Platform environment, with a focus on building and supporting Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that improve business operations. The engineer will serve as the senior technical lead for platform governance, security, performance, and lifecycle management, ensuring solutions are scalable and compliant. They will partner directly with business stakeholders to translate process needs into functional low-code applications and workflow automations. This position also serves as the primary escalation point for complex SharePoint/Power Platform issues and helps drive modernization efforts, including the adoption of Copilot and related Microsoft 365 capabilities.

    Update from the client on 02/11/2026 – Most apps are currently built on SharePoint lists but are migrating to Dataverse. Apps can be either Canvas or Model-Driven. PowerAutomate isn't being used currently. PowerBI is a nice-to-have (separate team owns that). Standard Dev/Test/Prod environment setup.
