The Altus team supports a high-impact program delivering rapid intelligence and cyber solutions to mission partners across the U.S. Government. Our work spans intelligence operations, cyber defense, technical support, and emerging threat innovation. In this role, you will immediately contribute to joint operational planning efforts that shape military strategy, support contingency operations, and enable informed decision-making across a broad and diverse area of responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and responsive strategic and operational planning support across plans, operations, logistics, intelligence, ISR, information operations, military information support operations, computer network operations, public diplomacy, and public affairs
  • Support Command staff in preparing for and executing joint mission requirements across a diverse operational environment
  • Conduct detailed operational planning to develop courses of action, identify required resources, and assess and mitigate operational risk
  • Ensure Joint Operation Planning aligns with the strategic employment of military power to achieve operational objectives
  • Shape operational outcomes by planning for anticipated contingencies and responding to emerging or unforeseen crises
  • Apply and integrate the Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) system and the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP) in support of full-spectrum military operations
  • Provide staff support and planning products to senior leadership to inform strategic and operational decision-making

Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
  • Bachelor�s degree and nine (9) years of relevant experience

Education and Experience Equivalencies:

  • High School Diploma plus 13 years of experience
  • Associate�s Degree plus 11 years of experience
  • Master�s Degree plus 7 years of experience
  • PhD plus 5 years of experience

Additional Requirements:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of position-specific, relevant experience in strategic or operational planning
  • Demonstrated experience supporting joint or military operational planning efforts
  • Strong understanding of joint planning doctrine, processes, and operational frameworks
