Dell Rapids School District has multiple openings for part-time School Nutrition workers for the 26 - 27 School year.

 

MINIMUM STARTING WAGE: $17.50/hour

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to lift heavy objects of at least 40 pounds, to stand for up to 4 hours, and to work in hot temperatures.

 

WORK YEAR: Part-time during school year; 4 hours per day

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs prep work such as preparing food menu items, setting up the serving/dining areas, filling milk coolers, and stocking food items.  


2. Cleans the tables.


3. Helps students with condiments at mealtime.


4. Performs other duties as assigned.


5. Serve students, staff, and guests in a pleasant, efficient manner.


6. Communicate with other staff as needed.


7. Clean work area, equipment, and assigned areas of responsibility to ensure proper sanitation of all food preparation, serving, and storage areas.


8. These are general duties; other duties may be required on any given day as needed.
