🏆 Quality Specialist (QPP OtD) III – Supplier Quality Specialist
📍 Ubicación: Amexhe, Guanajuato

 

🎯 Role Objective
Ensure the quality of purchased parts in serial production by managing supplier complaints, audits, escalation processes, and continuous improvement activities, guaranteeing compliance with quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

 

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Manage supplier quality complaints according to established procedures.
  
• Coordinate rework and sorting activities with suppliers and internal departments, including potential cost communication.
  
• Manage non‑conforming material (physically and in SAP), including intercompany parts.
  
• Escalate critical quality risks and lead corrective action plans.
  
• Consolidate Cost of Non‑Quality (CoNQ) and negotiate NQE chargebacks.
  
• Review, evaluate, and follow up 8D reports.
  
• Plan and perform supplier audits (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / VDA 6.3).
  
• Release ISIR / PPAP documentation.
  
• Lead supplier development and improvement programs.
  
• Train suppliers in problem‑solving methodologies.
  
• Lead improvement initiatives related to On‑Time Delivery (OtD).
  
• Support supplier transfers, outsourcing, and serial production activities.
  
• Coordinate or supervise quality‑related personnel when applicable.
  

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electronic Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years in Supplier Quality / Quality Assurance within automotive manufacturing.
• Fluent conversational English – Intermediate to Advanced.
• Previous experience with Microsoft Office package, SAP, and Minitab.
• Desirable: Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2015; Internal Auditor IATF 16949; Internal Auditor VDA 6.3.
