Position: Valet Parking Shift Lead

The Valet Parking Shift Lead Position:  

The ideal candidate for a Valet Parking Shift Lead position at Premier Parking is energetic, outgoing, polite, responsible, and professional; works well under pressure, enjoys servicing people, and possesses strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal). The ability to perform physical activities such as running, lifting, and bending. Valid driver’s license required. Ability to driver transmission preferred, but not required. Prior management or supervisor experience preferred, but not required.  

As a Valet Parking Shift Lead, you will be responsible for and expected to:   

• Manage and oversee all aspects of valet parking operations and staff within the location’s portfolio  
• Scheduling meal break times for valet drivers and cashiers  
• Responsible for expediting valet and cashier operations while ensuring top performance of all hourly staff  
• Drive each vehicle to/from the assigned space or area carefully, never tampering with radio, lights, or any other personal accessories or personal property of the customer  
• Inspect each vehicle and write down any damage or information pertaining to the vehicle  
• Report any accidents, observed or suspected violation of company policy, safety hazards, or anything unusual surrounding the vehicle or parking facility, to the Account Manager  
• Have knowledge or willingness to learn surrounding streets, landmarks, freeways, or any other helpful information to be able to provide to guest whenever needed  
• Respond to customer questions, complaints or any other comments in a prompt and helpful manner  
• Be able to work outside in any types of weather conditions  
• Assist managers with any additional duties as they become assigned

Physical Demands: This is a physically demanding job which requires you to run; stand; walk; use hands to finder; handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk and hear.  

· Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Must be able to push and pull 50 to 75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.  

· Must be able to push and pull, on a wheelchair, 100 to 350 pounds frequently over considerable distances.
