Job Description

Alcott, a leading nonprofit agency dedicated to providing vital mental health and supportive housing services to low-income adults across Los Angeles County, is seeking a motivated and compassionate Therapist – Full Service Partnership (FSP) to join our field-based mental health team. Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Salary Range: $70,304 – $76,000 annually, DOE

What You'll Do: The Impact You'll Make
As a Therapist – FSP, you will provide community-based mental health services to adults transitioning from Los Angeles County correctional facilities and living with a full spectrum of DSM diagnoses. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering field-based, client-centered care focused on stabilization, recovery, and reintegration.

Clinical Services and Field-Based Care
• Provide in-reach, assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic services
• Deliver individual, conjoint, crisis intervention, and rehabilitation services in field and community settings
• Support clients transitioning from incarceration through engagement, linkage, and continuity of care
• Respond to client crises, including participation in a rotating after-hours on-call schedule as assigned
• Work independently in field and correctional settings while maintaining safety and clinical standards

Documentation and Productivity
• Document services accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner in compliance with LAC-DMH, Medi-Cal, and agency standards
• Maintain required levels of service utilization and billing productivity
• Consistently meet agency productivity expectations

Collaboration and Communication
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, supervisors, and community partners
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Follow instructions, complete assigned tasks, and actively participate in supervision and training

Administrative and Technical Responsibilities
• Complete documentation using the electronic health record system
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with all regulatory and reporting requirements
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support program operations

What You'll Bring: Your Qualifications

Required
• Current California BBS registration (ASW, AMFT, or APCC)
• Eligibility to claim Medi-Cal services and clear criminal background
• Valid California Driver’s License, proof of insurance, and insurability
• Ability to work independently in field-based and correctional settings

Preferred
• Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness
• Experience in county-operated, county-contracted, residential, or community mental health programs
• Experience working with justice-involved populations

Work Environment and Expectations
• Full-time, 40-hour work week
• Primarily field-based with travel throughout service area
• Participation in rotating on-call coverage may be required
