JOB TITLE:      Paraprofessional
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
 
1.  High School diploma or equivalent
        Preferred and Required Once Hired: Passing score on the ParaPro Exam OR Associate's degree or higher
2.  Must be minimum 19 years of age.

• Full-Time Position (183 DAY/9 MONTH EMPLOYEE)

• Salary is Based on Experience- starting salary: $23,613
• Hours: 7:30-3:30 

OVERVIEW OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist certified teachers in preparing classroom activities, maintaining discipline, and managing classroom behavior
• Assist students in drills and activities and/or in small group instruction
• Perform clerical duties at they pertain to record-keeping and instruction of the students
• Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly classroom
• Assist in student health needs, personal hygiene, and movement of students
• Assist with student folders, notes, assignments, and testing as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned by principal.
