Pay Range: $17.84 to $24.96

Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.

Become part of our fast-paced, guest-centric Information Technology Department and gain hands-on experience supporting the Front End Marketing Application Development team. This role provides real-world exposure to building, maintaining, and enhancing guest-facing web applications that support Kwik Trip’s digital marketing and ecommerce experiences.
This individual will work on projects as directed by the Front End Applications Manager and collaborate closely with developers, QA, and business partners.
Regular tasks include:
- Supporting and maintaining guest-facing web and mobile applications (KT.com / KR.com / Kwik Rewards)
- Assisting with front-end enhancements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, iOS, Android
- Helping retire or archive legacy web or PHP applications
- Performing application and regression testing to ensure quality releases
- Creating and updating incident or support documentation (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Participating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as standups and sprint planning
- Assisting with troubleshooting and resolution of front-end issues
Qualifications:
- Student currently obtaining an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field
- Knowledge of one or more of the following languages or technologies:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Swift
- Kotlin
- Working knowledge of web & mobile concepts and terminology
- Ability to use Microsoft Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail; self-motivated and eager to learn
- Ability to resolve high-priority issues with guidance
- Ability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Work Schedule:
This is a paid internship. Interested candidates must be willing to work 20+ hours per week Monday through Friday during school semesters and 40 hours per week during school breaks. We offer flexibility to accommodate school schedules.
