Job Description

 

INTERNAL SALES MANAGER

We are looking for an Internal Sales Manager who will report to the Regional Business Leader, and who’ll be tasked with managing our internal sales team. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to the organization's growth by elevating our dealer network. You’ll be at the forefront of implementing strategies and execution plans that drive retail business through our dealer partners.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Build a high performing team culture focused on BRP values: Passion, Trust, Ingenuity and Drive. Lead, mentor and develop a diverse internal sales team who are in charge of selling BRP products including parts, accessories, and apparel. Provide clear priorities and work direction to the team aligned with performance objectives while maintaining alignment with our field team. 

  • Work in collaboration with the field sales team in order to increase dealer performance and opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the Dealer Development team to elevate the dealer network.

  • Monitor industry and competitive trends; feed actionable recommendations to cross functional teams.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement through the optimization of the sales function and team performance year over year. Effectively manage the sales budget for the assigned territory.

  • Ensure that marketing, training, promotional and go-to-market initiatives are effectively implemented in the assigned territory. 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

  • 5 plus years of sales or relevant go-to-market experience

  • 2 plus years of prior supervisory and leadership experience

  • Experience analyzing data, building, presenting and executing a plan

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.

  • Required to work on site in the Plano office a minimum of 3 days per week.

  • Travel required is 20%

Preferred:

  • Powersports or automotive industry experience

  • Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
