This role is primarily responsible for the routine administrative and supportive duties to assist guests during their stay and ensure the facility runs smoothly.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers and patient populations
- Healthcare Background in Patient Care Technician, State Tested Nursing Assistant or MA required.
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
Essential Functions
- Greet guests and family members.
- Verify information for guests stay.
- Orient guests to suite and functions of equipment, such as TV, call light, furniture, blinds in room.
- Assist Nurse Navigator in a variety of tasks but not limited to:
- Recording vital signs.
- Explaining daily activities to guests.
- Assist guests with ambulating to bathroom if necessary.
- Ensure guests have ice packs changed frequently.
- Ensure guest safety with visual observation.
- Promote patient/family understanding of the educational content and his/her involvement in the plan of care.
- Perform other clinical functions as delegated and supervised by the Nurse Navigator.
- Accurately advises other team members regarding guest needs and status
- Inspects equipment for proper working conditions.
- Assists in work area by cleaning area and guest rooms
- Assists in storing and stocking of supplies and items
- Responds in a timely manner to meet the needs of the guest.
- Assists in the check-out of guest, following evaluation by Nurse Navigator.
- Other duties as assigned.

The employee must be able to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis and be able to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis.
