Requirements

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of
    our products & services.

  • Will be trained on all
    aspects of the job and his/her market concentration. Will then be
    responsible for developing new accounts and managing those relationships.

  • Work with sales and marketing
    team to develop strategic plans and accomplish goals.

  • Schedule and travel to
    client's offices to conduct meetings.

  • Research/generate new client
    leads and increase client base through active sales.

Required Skills and
Background

  • Experience with Automation
    and control systems, Crestron, Savant.

  • Experience with Distributed
    HD and 4k video systems.

  • Basic knowledge Secure
    hardwired and wireless networks.

  • Video teleconferencing
    systems.

  • IP video surveillance
    systems.

  • Sound proofing and acoustical
    treatments.

  • Digital telephone systems and
    voicemail.

  • D-Tools or similar proposal
    software written specifications.

  • Basic knowledge of board
    rooms and usage of board rooms.

  • Basic knowledge in Lighting
    control systems, Crestron or Lutron.

  • Distributed audio systems.
  • Digital signage and video
    walls.

  • Projection systems and
    screens.

  • Paging and sound masking
    systems.

  • Positive attitude and detail
    orientated

  • 1-2 years sales experience

    engineering.

  • Interior motorized window
    treatments, shades.

  • D-Tools software
  • Apple computers

·       Must possess computer skills and have working
knowledge of Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote, D-Tools, Outlook and CRM
- knowledge of d-tools, a plus.  Knowing
Mac computers a plus.

·       Knowing AV brands such as Crestron, Extron, Bi-Amp,
Shure, Atlona are a plus
Maintain contracting sales quota and goals
Gather information for the design of systems for potential customers
Call on potential and existing sales customers
Coordinate with design team to produce proposal packages for clients
Write routine reports and correspondence
Present information and respond to questions from builders, clients, and
prospects

·       Sell products within assigned territory, maintaining
and exceeding sales quota
Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques and networking
Present sales presentation and proposals to prospects
Follow up with prospects and prepare final contracts for signatures
Post installation follow - up
Generate referrals
