Cash Clerk Job Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, and post daily cash, check, and electronic payments
- Prepare and balance daily cash deposits
- Reconcile cash receipts against dealership documentation
- Research and resolve discrepancies in payment records
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and filing systems
- Communicate with dealership personnel regarding deposit or posting issues
- Follow established internal controls and accounting procedures
