Summary
CHS Agriculture is looking for drivers to deliver palletized goods from its local warehouse to retail customers. Much of the role is a Monday – Friday, day shift opportunity. There may be occasions where commodities, timing, and length of haul are slightly different.
Responsibilities
- Pick up and deliver product to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
- Immediately report all accidents, traffic violations, and damage to vehicles.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing CHS.
- Assist in warehouse when not delivering product, with tasks that are deemed necessary to help teammates.
- Perform various duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- High School diploma or GED
- CDL Class A or B
- Ability to obtain HAZMAT and tanker endorsement prior to driving CHS vechicles
Physical Requirements
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen
