Job Summary:
The Payroll Coordinator Corporate under the supervision of the Payroll Supervisor, is responsible for processing payroll for up to 1,500 employees in various locations and states and ensures that employees are paid properly and on a timely basis. This role is challenging and complex.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Uploading time and attendance files from various operating regions, as well as keying time into payroll
• Ensuring hours in the payroll system are in balance with control totals
• Preparing and processing weekly and or bi-weekly payrolls timely and accurately
• Verify proper approval for any pay adjustments, additions and terminations
• Participate in conversions and acquisitions, as it relates to payroll
• Participate in annual audits for payroll, ensuring accuracy of W2’s etc.
• Provide customer support for Employees, HR managers, Terminal Managers and Controllers of assigned locations. Union experience preferred.
• Provide information for audits such as Worker's Compensation, 401(k), etc.
• Assist with retrieving specific information for legal claims
• Prepare standard miscellaneous reports for management, if requested to do so
• Assist employees and outside agencies in requests for personnel/payroll records
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to comply with all policies and procedures established by company.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 3 years of recent experience processing multi-state payroll in a unionized environment, preferred
• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
• FPC certificaction, preferred
• Experience working with HRIS systems, UKG/UltiPro/Kronos experience preferred
