Job Description

Sandpiper Heating & Air Conditioning is hiring a Customer Service Representative / Dispatcher to support our residential and light commercial operations in the Calabash, NC area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping customers, and knows how to keep technicians scheduled, informed, and productive. 

If you’re organized, calm under pressure, and great on the phone, this is a key role on our operations team. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Answer inbound calls and assist customers with scheduling service and installations 
  • Dispatch technicians efficiently for residential and light commercial calls 
  • Manage daily schedules to maximize productivity and response times 
  • Communicate clearly with technicians regarding job details, updates, and changes 
  • Provide excellent customer service before, during, and after appointments 
  • Accurately enter and update customer and job information in the system 
  • Handle customer questions, concerns, and follow-ups professionally 
  • Support the service and installation teams as needed 
  • Represent Sandpiper with professionalism and a positive attitude 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Previous CSR, dispatch, or call-center experience (home services preferred) 
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills 
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment 
  • Comfortable using scheduling software and computer systems 
  • Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused 
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during high-volume periods
