    JOB TITLE:                ISI Assistant

    JOB DESCRIPTION:       The purpose of the  ISI Assistant is to assist with both academic support and monitoring students in the ISI room. 
                                             While acting in the tutor capacity this position will be responsible for providing individual academic support needed to close achievement gaps.                                                                                                           While acting as ISI Assistant this position is responsible for ensuring students stay on task and are not left unattended.    

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 48 hours of completed college coursework (transcripts will be required) OR minimun required score on the state test for Instructional Assistants (Work Keys)
    • Elementary education teaching license perferred but not required
    • Positive attitude, attention to detail, time management skills and ability to multitask

    DUTIES:

    • Provide assistance to the individual needs of students
    • Assist with record keeping
    • Abide by confidentiality regulations
    • Ensure ISI students complete all assignments given to them.  Students will work continuously the entire day.
    • Monitor ISI student activities to ensure no talking, no note passing and no electronic device use.
    • Effectively monitor student(s) behavior.
    • Assist, as requested, in transition activities;
    • Other responsibilities assigned by administration
