Position Summary



The clinician is responsible for ensuring that excellent clinical care is provided to all clients. This position is responsible for designing treatment and aftercare plans and supporting referrals. This position is required to also implement group therapy and clinical therapy for substance use and or mental health disorders. This position must also document all treatment activities and consistently consult with treatment team.



 



Relationships and Contacts



 



Within the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with peers and accounting team members throughout Steps to Recovery and affiliated facilities.



 



Outside the organization: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with third party vendors, as necessary.



Position Responsibilities



 




  1. Providing one on one and group therapy session for adults with substance use and mental health disorders

  2. Developing and implementing client treatment Plans

  3. Developing and implementing Aftercare and discharge/

  4. Completing client Bio-psychosocial evaluations

  5. Attending and participating in regular Clinical Team meetings

  6. Completing case notes and other documentation relevant to treatment, aftercare and discharge

  7. Attending and participating in mandatory trainings

  8. Assisting with Intake/Admissions, referrals, Discharge and Admission of clients

  9. Asses and schedule client support needs outside the scope of STR

  10. Complete other duties and tasks as assigned.
