We are looking for a seasoned Kubernetes Engineer to join our Container Platform team. This role is critical in designing, deploying, and managing container orchestration platforms that support scalable and resilient applications. You will work closely with DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of Kubernetes clusters/containers across hybrid cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Kubernetes clusters across cloud and on-prem environments, including lifecycle of core components and addons (e.g., CNI, CSI, ingress controllers, observability integrations, etc.).

  • Develop Helm charts and Kubernetes manifests for cluster and application deployment and configuration.

  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows for cluster components and application deployments.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cluster and application performance and resource utilization.

  • Ensure security, compliance, and high availability of containerized workloads.

  • Drive automation and platform consistency using a mix of scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), GitOps, and Kubernetes-native tooling.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of Kubernetes environments and processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience managing production workloads in Kubernetes.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and hybrid deployments.

  • Strong understanding of Linux systems and shell scripting.

  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CodePipeline).

  • Experience with Terraform or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools.

  •  Efficient with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, NewRelic, etc.) and logging solutions (Splunk).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) or other relevant certifications.

  • Experience with GitOps tools such as ArgoCD, FluxCD, etc.

  • Experience with deploying and managing Kubernetes addons (Policy Engines, Prometheus, Ingress Controllers, Cert-Manager, etc.)

  • Experience administrating a multi-tenant cluster.

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Go, Python, etc.)

What We Offer

  • Collaborative work environment with global teams.

  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.

  • Continuous learning and growth opportunities in Cloud and DevOps technologies.
