Position Summary

The Prep Cook supports daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, organizing inventory, and ensuring the kitchen is clean, stocked, and service-ready. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly and takes pride in food quality, organization, and cleanliness.

Compensation: $24.00-$25.00 hourly

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily prep lists and maintain proper par levels based on reservations and volume

  • Prep ingredients for charcuterie boards, flatbreads, paninis, and rotating seasonal menu items

  • Organize refrigerators, storage areas, and inventory for efficiency and freshness

  • Monitor food quality, temperatures, and sanitation standards

  • Maintain a clean, sanitized kitchen and dish area throughout each shift

  • Complete end-of-shift cleaning including floors, equipment, and workstations

  • Communicate inventory needs and operational issues to leadership

  • Support the service team by ensuring food is ready for peak periods

  • Any other duties as assigned by your Manager


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Food Handler’s Permit (or willingness to obtain)

  • Strong knife skills and basic food prep knowledge

  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable team player
