                                                  PRCI Youth Summer Internship Program 2026

The Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians is accepting applications for the 2026 Summer Internship Program.

 

This paid internship provides Tribal youth ages 14–18 the opportunity to work inside PRCI departments, learn professional skills, and gain real-world experience in Tribal government operations.

 

Interns will work in assigned departments, attend professional development workshops, and complete a final project presentation at the end of the program.

 

Program Dates

July 6, 2026 – July 31, 2026

8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and alternating Fridays

 

Pay

Hourly rate: TBD

Interns are temporary employees of PRCI during the program.

 

What You Will Do

  • Work in a PRCI department (Education, Finance, IT, Housing, Language & Culture, Social Services, Elders, Reception, Maintenance, EPA, etc.)
  • Assist with real department projects and tasks
  • Attend required professional development workshops
  • Complete a capstone project
  • Deliver a final presentation

 

Who Should Apply

  • Students willing to commit to the full program schedule

  • Professional behavior and workplace conduct
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Valid work permit if under 18
