About the Role
The Packaging Designer at Packsize plays a key role in driving adoption and growth of our Right-sized Packaging On Demand® technology. You’ll combine your packaging expertise with customer-facing skills to create innovative, efficient, and sustainable packaging solutions. This role works closely with Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams to design solutions that meet customer needs while supporting successful implementations. You’ll also help mentor other designers and act as a subject matter expert for Packsize packaging technology.
What You’ll Do
Work directly with customers to evaluate their products, processes, and packaging requirements.
Develop innovative corrugated packaging designs using Packsize technology.
Create sales samples and prepare Demo Center setups for customer demonstrations.
Facilitate customer demos alongside Sales and Solutions teams.
Manage packaging support requests via email and CRM.
Partner with internal teams to resolve customer packaging concerns and optimize solutions.
Support other Packaging Designers by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of a standard packaging design database.
Balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
What You’ll Need
2–4 year degree in Packaging Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience (4-year degree preferred).
Fluent in English (Written & Spoken)
Direct experience in corrugated packaging design and CAD software proficiency.
Knowledge of corrugated materials, grades, and packaging testing protocols.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
Strong organizational, documentation, and presentation skills.
Excellent communication skills with both internal teams and external customers.
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel up to 25% and lift/carry up to 23 kg.
Nice to Have
Ability to speak other European languages
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications.
Prior experience in a customer-facing or sales support role.
Experience mentoring junior designers or training teams in packaging solutions.
Familiarity with Right-sized Packaging On Demand® systems and technology.
