Job Description:We are looking for a service-minded and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to join our Global IT Services team to support Heimstaden employees, with primary focus on Denmark and our two main offices located in central Copenhagen.
Together with our existing IT Support colleague in Denmark, you will be a key IT contact for our Danish offices and you will be an important part of ensuring that our employees have a stable, secure, and modern digital workplace experience.
You will provide both hands-on and remote support, work closely with colleagues across the business, and collaborate with local vendors, facility teams, and Global IT Services.
The position combines day-to-day IT support with local infrastructure coordination and continuous improvement of our IT services.
You will be based in Copenhagen and will report to our Head of Global IT Services North as part of a multinational and dynamic team.
You responsibilities will include:
- Provide primarily 1st line support and handle selected 2nd line support tasks, both onsite and remotely
- Troubleshoot and support laptops, mobile devices, printers, meeting room technology, AV equipment, and workplace-related IT issues
- Support users and devices across Microsoft 365 services, including Intune, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, and relevant business applications
- Support onboarding and setup of IT equipment, software, and access for new employees, and coordinate secure offboarding of devices, user accounts, and access rights
- Support and troubleshoot local office connectivity, including networks, Wi-Fi, conference room solutions, and peripheral equipment, coordinating with Global IT Services colleagues or vendors when needed
- Work with ticket handling, prioritization, documentation, knowledge articles, asset inventory, and SLA follow-up in the ITSM environment
- Coordinate with local suppliers, vendors, facility teams, and Global IT stakeholders
- Support cybersecurity-led initiatives and endpoint health by helping ensure devices are updated, compliant, and protected, and by promoting guidance on access management, phishing awareness, and data protection
- Help identify recurring issues and proactively contribute to continuous improvements in the IT environment and the overall user experience
- Guide employees in the use of workplace IT tools, applications, and best practices
We expect you to have:
- Experience working with IT support, service desk, or workplace IT services
- Strong hands-on experience supporting modern workplace IT, especially Windows devices, mobile devices, Microsoft 365, printers, AV/meeting room equipment, and common end user issues
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Intune for managing devices
- Good understanding of networks, Wi-Fi, network equipment, and office connectivity
- Experience working in an ITSM/ticket handling environment
- A structured and service-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to promote good IT- and security practices among end users in a helpful and service-minded way
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders, both onsite and remotely
- Fluent Danish and strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
It is a plus if you also have experience with:
- Familiarity with Entra ID from a support perspective, e.g. users, groups, and devices
- Experience supporting endpoint security tools or device compliance processes
- JIRA Service Management
- ITIL-based support processes
- Real estate industry systems or business applications
