Service Desk - Student Worker (SUMMER)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Perform
various tasks for the Service Desk, including pick up and delivery of computer
equipment, paper for Bruin Print stations, and basic troubleshooting of
computer equipment and AV gear in classrooms.

Student Worker will answer phones and create service tickets to be escalated to technicians.

Working Conditions: Walking indoors and outdoors. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Required Qualifications

Basic computer knowledge.

Software familiarity including operating
systems, Microsoft Office, and various browsers.

Hardware familiarity
including, monitors, control panels, desktop and laptop computers.

Must be able to answer phones in a timely manner and follow workflow to create and escalate tickets.

Training will be provided.

  
Required EducationMust be enrolled as a student at Belmont University. No specific department required, Computer Science is a plus 
  
Required ExperienceBasic customer service experience required
