Qnit Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technologies is looking for a Formulation Scientist to join our expanding team. In this role, you will help develop and optimize advanced chemical solutions that support the performance and success of our global semiconductor customers.
This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative formulation projects, collaborate directly with customers, and engage cross‑functionally across the full product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop chemical solutions to engage customers to meet the technical requirements of semiconductor cleaning or treatment solutions. The engaging partners are mainly but not limited to R&D/production functions within Global IC FABs.
Partner directly with customers to be responsible for methodology development and improvement to simulate customer in-line test results, formulating chemical products to solve customer technical challenges, presenting data to customers, and communicating with customers to develop new products for DuPont Advanced Cleans & Slurry Technologies business.
Communicate and collaborate with different functions in the whole product development cycle, including Marketing/Account/Application/Quality/scale-up Engineering/Manufacturing/EHS, etc., to deliver robust products to the market.
What You Bring :
Educational Excellence: Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science & Engineering, or a Master’s degree with relevant research experience.
Hands-On Experience: At least 3 years of experience in R&D, with a strong understanding of the entire product development lifecycle—from ideation and proof of concept to testing, launch, and continuous improvement.
Technical Expertise: Knowledge in electrochemistry, chemical/polymer analytical methods, semiconductor clean chemistry, post-etch residue removal (PERR), highly selective etching, or post-chemical mechanical polishing (PCMP) is highly valued.
Leadership and Collaboration: Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required.
