Have you heard? Lenovo is looking for a new HCS PNC Delivery Technician!
You will deploy and commission secondary cooling infrastructure, including direct liquid cooling (DLC) manifolds, heat exchangers, pumps, and piping systems. You will install and configure cooling components in line with engineering drawings and technical specifications, perform system checks such as pressure testing and leak detection, and support water treatment setup and ongoing monitoring to ensure system health and compliance. As part of the role, you will carry out preventative maintenance activities, document installation and testing results, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver successful deployments. You will also provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting during and after commissioning, while consistently adhering to safety protocols and environmental guidelines.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead full project lifecycle for data center power and cooling deployments
Manage installation and commissioning of liquid cooling systems, CDUs, and liquid-cooled servers
Manage the maintenance and water-testing schedule, results, and remediation actions for water quality at all global installations
Provide technical oversight across power, HVAC, and thermal systems
Manage stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and contractors
Track project schedules, budgets, and KPIs
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in industrial cooling systems, HVAC, or data center infrastructure deployment.
Familiarity with chilled water systems, DLC, or other liquid-based cooling technologies.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and installation schematics.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A willingness to travel frequently and work in data center environments.
OSHA 10/30 or similar safety certification is a plus.
Preferred skills:
Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments or hyperscale data centers.
Customer support background with exposure to technical infrastructure drawings
Knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and remote monitoring tools.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
