Description:
Under the supervision of Disability and Access, an Alternative Testing Proctor will maintain test security and proctor exams for students with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Proctor exams, which includes monitoring students during exams
- Ensuring academic honesty during testing, which includes adhering to testing time limits and ensuring that students are not using any unapproved technology during the exam
- Returning exams to professors when necessary
- Maintaining the confidentiality of students
- Ensuring that no other students see the exam or interact with the student while she/he completes the exam
Requirements:
- Must be a full-time student at Ursinus College with completion of one (1) semester
- In good judicial and academic standing with the College
- Maintain a flexible work schedule
- Communicate regularly and efficiently with supervisor
- Maintain test security and student confidentiality
- Report incidents of academic dishonesty to supervisor
- Adhere to the college’s policy’s regarding academic honesty
- Report hours for payroll as instructed to be compensated
