The role

The Facilities Manager supports ATP’s training operations by ensuring facilities are safe, functional, well maintained, and provides a professional experience for students, instructors, and employees. This role manages facility upkeep, coordinates repairs and improvements, works with vendors and property managers, and supports new training centers, relocations, and renovation projects. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance, aesthetic appeal, functionality, and brand consistency across all ATP facilities.
  • Perform routine facility audits to evaluate maintenance requirements, repair needs, safety protocols, and brand presentation.
  • Address facility concerns promptly to protect the student experience and ensure training operations continue without interruption.
  • Direct and manage repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance, facility upgrades, and renovation initiatives.
  • Evaluate contractor and vendor bids to verify that project scope, cost, timelines, and craftsmanship align with ATP expectations.
  • Cultivate vendor partnerships to ensure all work is executed safely, efficiently, and according to professional standards.
  • Liaise with landlords, property managers, and internal stakeholders to resolve any facility-related challenges.
  • Facilitate new training center launches by coordinating site prep, furniture placement, technology setup, and move-in readiness.
  • Organize relocations, remodels, and construction projects to facilitate the growth of the organization.
  • Manage emergency responses to weather events, utility outages, or other critical facility issues across the network.
  • Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve training center facility needs.
  • Execute additional administrative or operational tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven background in construction, facilities management, or a related industry.
  • Comprehensive understanding of building upkeep, general maintenance, fundamental repairs, and standard building systems.
  • Experience preserving commercial properties in a safe, functional, and professional manner.
  • Track record of coordinating facility repairs, preventative maintenance, renovations, and small-scale construction initiatives.
  • Success in managing relationships with contractors, vendors, landlords, and property managers.
  • Ability to solicit and evaluate project proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, and timelines.
  • Proficiency in executing basic building repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Technical literacy in Microsoft Office, email, and web-based operational systems.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to various ATP locations.
