Overview The Account Representative plays a key role in assisting clients and brokers with the daily administration of retirement plans. In this position, you’ll manage a defined portfolio of simpler plans, with no renewal goals associated with the role. You’ll collaborate closely with senior team members, gaining valuable experience and building a strong foundation in 401(k) plan services. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, communicating effectively, and contributing to work that empowers people to plan for their financial future. How you'll make an impact Respond to calls and messages regarding 401(k) plans, providing clear and accurate guidance. Investigate and resolve service-related inquiries, escalating complex issues as needed. Collaborate with carriers, brokers, and internal teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Conduct year-end reviews and prepare required government documentation. Assist with compliance testing and perform data validation checks. Analyze proposals and manage data organization in spreadsheets. Contribute to the preparation of client-ready reports and presentations. About You Required: A high school diploma or GED is required. At least 1 year of experience in client service, benefits administration, or a related field. Preferred: Appropriate license Relevant licenses or certifications. Credentials such as ASPPA, QKA, or higher. Familiarity with ERISA rules and guidelines. Behaviors: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines. A proactive approach to researching solutions and seeking guidance when necessary. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position.
