Job Description

Primary Therapy Source is looking for a Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team.  We are an out-patient organization that offers Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Behavioral therapy to patients of all ages. We are the leading pediatric therapy organization in Southern Idaho and the only company to offer all four therapies in one place. The ideal candidate will have the drive to perform well in a growing industry and has the necessary degree from an accredited university.  New graduates or experienced therapists are welcome to apply. Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must possess a valid Idaho license of Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass an employer conducted background check 
  • Associate's Degree

Duties and responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Provide therapy services to each patient consistent with physician orders, evaluation, and approved therapy plan as a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.
  •  Provide legible, signed and dated daily notes and progress notes for each patient which reports shall include changes in condition, response to treatment, coordination of services and such other information.
  • Complete required supervision with OTR per licensure regulations
  • Documentation of patients in a correct manner and maintain confidentially of all patient medical information.
  • Provide accurate treatment times and dates of service on all documentation as well as billing sheets.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Adapts/modifies instructional materials as determined by patients needs and abilities
  • Must be able to react with flexibility and sensitivity to changing situations
  • Participate in health professional/administration planning meetings, patient conferences, and staff meetings.
  • Participate in the review and evaluation of total patient care.
  • Participate in and provide in-service programs as requested.

Salary: Depends on Experience

Education: Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (Required)
License: ID state license as OTA (Required)
