Position Overview: Repair Technician is Responsible for ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, meet company quality standards, safely conducted, and completed to the customer’s satisfaction. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Execute daily work orders within safety regulations.
  • Report to Construction Manager on the progress of all project activity daily, including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
  • Solve problems that arise and provide management with earliest possible notification of real and potential job problems.
  • Devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.
  • Meet with the Construction manager as necessary to review project status, discuss project-specific goals and formulate action items.
  • Maintain job file documentation and information to ensure accurate customer billing.
  • Oversight of quality standards; ensure that all Company quality standards are met.
  • Oversee project safety and enforce Company safety policy to eliminate potential accidents affecting employees, the public and property.
  • Keep the job site as clean and tidy as possible.
  • Maintain good client relations, securing additional work as opportunity arises.
  • Basic Framing – repair to existing or new build.
  • Finish Carpentry – i.e., drywall through texture/paint, baseboard/trim, caulking, install of new hardware etc.
  • Flooring – ability to install common types of flooring i.e.: hardwood, tile, vinyl plank, floating etc.
  • Basic electrical & Plumbing – includes replacement of fixtures, detach/reset of plumbing fixtures as needed.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must be available for emergency work after hours and at the weekends including on-call shifts.
  • I must be willing to travel locally and regionally.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
  • Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.
  • Must have a valid Colorado Driver’s License and meet HRS MVR driving record standards.
  • Drug testing is required before the start of employment.
  • Basic math and writing skills.
  • Ability to work while wearing a respirator when needed.
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills or willingness to obtain necessary skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Good judgment and ability to remain calm in an extremely busy workday and/or difficult client interaction.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information
  • Use of judgment on assessing job set-up and protocol
  • Minimum (2) years as an apprentice or trades worker in above requirements.
  • Self-owned tools – the company will provide any specialty equipment, but you are expected to have a basic kit to execute typical daily tasks.

 

 Pay: The pay range for this position is $25.00-$30.00 per hour. Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location where job is performed. HRS does not discriminate based upon any protected category with respect to the payment of wages.
