● Plan and coordinate with general education teachers.
● Develop and deliver lessons that build upon student skills in learning
and applying the English language.
● Maintain progress monitoring and accurate records.
● Assess and identify student skill levels in using the English language
to determine appropriate next steps in learning.
● Maintain timely communication and feedback with students,
educators, and families regarding progress of learning.
● Utilize district curriculum and technology resources to deliver
instruction.
● Maintain positive relationships to contribute to partnerships in
learning.
● Support students of differing abilities.
● Establish and maintain a positive, supportive, and respectful learning
environment using experience/training in Restorative Practices and
Trauma-Informed Care to effectively support students.
● Maintain the drive for results by demonstrating persistence,
directness, and the ability to monitor and plan ahead.
● Teach and practice transferable literacy skills in reading, listening,
writing, and speaking.
● Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current
with educational best practices.
● Apply technology proficiently to enhance teaching and promote
meaningful student learning.
● Understand and implement Board of Education Policy,
Administrative Guidelines, and organizational practices to ensure
consistency and compliance.

● Valid teaching certificate with an ESL Endorsement (Working toward
ESL Endorsement is acceptable).
● Experience teaching or working with students who qualify for English
Learning support or instruction.
● Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management
skills.
● Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning
environment.
● Strong personal integrity and professional ethics.
● Compensation: Based on the Teacher Contract and Salary Schedule
