Job Title: Case Selector
Department: Operations
Reports To: General Manager
Position Type: Full Time
Shift/Schedule: 2nd Shift - 4:00pm to 12:30am - Sunday - Thursday
Wage: $18.00 - $20.00 + $1.50 shift diff per hour when applicable
Purpose of Position:
Operate power equipment to safely handle and move product while supporting receiving and shipping processes. Ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safety in all warehouse operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Accurately pick, stack, and move product using material handling equipment.
- Use RF scan devices to track and verify inventory.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer-specific instructions.
- Load and unload shipments while ensuring product quality and accuracy.
- Maintain inventory integrity and report discrepancies .
- Complete required paperwork (pick lists, receiving documents, load reports).
- Participate in pre-shift meetings and daily stretching routines .
- Support general housekeeping and organization of the warehouse.
Productivity & Performance:
- Meet or exceed daily productivity standards.
- Understand picking, stocking, and loading strategies.
Safety First:
- Follow all safety procedures for dock operations and equipment use.
- Complete daily equipment inspections.
- Immediately report hazards, incidents, or accidents.
Quality Focus:
- Ensure all shipments are accurate and damage-free.
- Follow “Only Handle It Once (OHIO)”—do it right the first time.
Initiative & Teamwork:
- Step in where needed and take on additional tasks.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain equipment certification.
- Experience with RF scanners preferred (training available).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, twisting, and reaching for extended periods.
- Able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
