Job Description
Engineering Strategy Leadership
The Global Competence Center Engineering Process Manager oversees the development of the strategic direction and guiding content for Field Engineers and Engineering Specialists across the Hilti Globe. They work collaboratively across all engineering teams in the regional HUB’s, Market Organizations (MO’s), and global business units to develop the key elements of the global engineering strategy that will impact our Lead 2030 ambition on Digital Design and Engineering products and engaged specifiers.
What You’ll Do
Plan and implement projects that align with the organization’s overall business strategy.
Effectively manage and communicate with key stakeholders on strategy projects.
Assist in defining project scope, goals, creating and tracking deliverables and ensure quality.
Collect, manage, and support project team by outlining tasks and required resources.
Actively maintain a schedule, project timeline and budget, as well as monitor and report on project progress.
Present to stakeholders reports on progress as well as problems and solutions.
Develop and design documents including training manuals, process outlines, flowcharts, and implementation procedures.
Coordinate with dotted-line relationships to Global Marketing, Global Strategic Marketing, Construction Services, Global Software, MO and HUB leadership, and other competence centers.
Mentor and develop recently hired engineering leaders on the elements of territory planning, disciplined engineering execution, proper investment models, opportunity based steering and systematic account development.

Know-How transfer within the global community:
Develop new and comprehensive training concepts and materials; conduct masterclasses for global engineering community while considering different maturity levels and market needs of various Hubs.
Share engineering expertise with Hub peers in the community experience exchanges.
Perform regular consultations based on individual Hub needs.
Additional duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering; or bachelor’s degree in construction management, MBA preferred; or 5 - 10 years of project management or engineering leadership required.
Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in engineering, construction, or related technical field.
Strong experience in MO engineering processes and value proposition.
Proven experience at the Hilti region level understanding the business needs of engineering companies (consultant and in-house specifying operations).
Strategic view and ability to conceptualize the experiences of different Hilti Market Organizations to sharpen global common best practices.
Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. 
Field job experience, a Field Engineer Manager or head of back office is preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to facilitate planning meetings, workshops, and work effectively in and lead teams in a matrix environment.
Comprehensive knowledge of Hilti engineering and general business processes including construction workflow, specifier engagement, specification to sale, construction project manager, disciplined engineering execution, and systematic account development.
Strong organizational skills: must be able to organize multiple projects and track successes or lost opportunities and bring this knowledge to future projects.
