Job Description

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maintaining our standards of excellence.

Job Details

Position Type: Hourly, Full Time

Flexible shift options:

  • Weeknights | Monday - Thursday | 8:00pm – 6:00am

  • Weekend Days | Friday - Sunday | 6:00am - 6:00pm

  • Weekend Nights | Friday - Sunday | 6:00pm - 6:00am

  • Pay Range: 

  • $16.00 - $20.00/hour for Mon - Thu shifts

  • $18.13 - $22.67/hour for Fri - Sun shifts

  • Plus, $2.00/hour shift premium for night shifts

Work Location: M1 (7034 IL Rt 84, Savanna, IL 61074)

Reports to: Production Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines to produce components according to specifications.

  • Ensure all items meet our strict quality control requirements.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and make necessary adjustments.

  • Interpret blueprints and use basic measuring instruments.

  • Complete all necessary documents accurately and thoroughly.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area in accordance with 5S standards.

  • Adhere strictly to safety, environmental, and quality policies and procedures.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills/Competencies

  • Ability to follow and interpret verbal and written work instructions.

  • Ability to take initiative, demonstrating the ability to work independently and drive tasks to completion without supervision.

  • Ability to build positive relationships and communicate effectively with team members and internal customers.

  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.

  • Proficiency in basic computer and mathematical skills. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Previous industrial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated steady work history with minimal employment gaps.

  • History of reliable attendance record and punctuality - essential to support production timelines and team operations.
