How You'll Be Making a Difference
The Temp Kitchen Manager position has the following responsibilities:
- Cooks and prepares healthy, well-balanced meals according to USDA/DESE Food Programs and HFLW menus.
- Responsible for the overall management of food services on-site, including vendor ordering, stocking and stock rotation.
- Receives and stores all food in compliance with food safety standards.
- Maintains a clean and organized kitchen.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 2 – 3 years working in a large cooking/kitchen environment preferred.
- ServSafe certification and Food Allergy Training required.
- Skilled cook with ability to follow USDA recipes and prepare meals from a cycle menu.
- Prior experience working in a residential/institutional kitchen preferred.
