JOB DESCRIPTION


Job Title: Crew Resource Supervisor

Department: Crew Resources

Reports To: Assistant Manager of Crew Resources

FLSA Status: Nonexempt


SUMMARY:

Has responsibility for all fleet of aircraft and schedulers during their shift. This responsibility includes but is not limited to ensuring all flights have legal crews assigned and notified of those assignments, respond to all operational changes effecting the assignment of crews, ensuring all crew ground and commercial air accommodations are confirmed and ensuring all required reports are sent.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reviewing with the opposite shift’s counterpart all issues and all items requiring action before accepting the previous shift’s log;
  • Ensure all crew members remain FAR and contractually legal for all assignments.
  • Ensuring pending notifications/open trips requiring immediate attention are addressed;
  • Reviewing pending and potential operational issues with the Duty Manager;
  • Conducting briefing meetings with crew resource personnel daily;
  • Verifying and updating information in Astro
  • Ensuring all open assignments for the next 72 hours are covered
  • Other duties as assigned.


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job is responsible for the crew resource coordinators on their shift.


QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school graduate; some college and/or technical school desirable. Must have good working knowledge of world geography and flight operations. Must possess exceptional attention to detail and abstract problem solving capabilities. Experience in a airline operational control center is preferred.


LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
