Dealership General Manager
We are seeking experienced Automotive Dealership General Managers to ensure profitability, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company standards and policies.

 

$80,000 - $250,00 yearly salary (Commensurate with experience)

 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record at the GM-level (4+ years) in managing a high-volume automotive operation with a verifiable record of profitability
  • Exceeds CSI scores
  • Consistent positive customer satisfaction scores
  • Fluency in CDK and related automotive applications
  • Strong leadership, presentation and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

  • This role involves managing and leading staff, developing strategic business plans, and ensuring the dealership meets its sales and service goals
  • The General Manager will report directly to the (COO) and collaborate closely with other departments to drive the success of the dealership
  • Oversee all daily operations of the dealership including sales, service, parts, and finance departments
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Monitor and analyze dealership performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Hire, train, and mentor department managers and staff
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any customer concerns or complaints promptly
  • Develop and execute sales and marketing plans to achieve dealership goals
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
  • Ensure effective merchandising and promotional activities to attract and retain customers
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability
  • Implement cost-control measures and identify opportunities to increase revenue
  • Inventory Management:
  • Oversee the ordering and inventory control of vehicles, parts, and accessories
  • Ensure all dealership operations comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety and environmental responsibility
