Location: Manitowoc

Shift Hours: 6am – 2pm Monday through Friday with occasional overtime 

Pay: $19.00 an hour

 

About the Role: Join our team as an Assembly Technician, where you’ll play a key role in the final assembly and packaging of products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working with tools, following production schedules, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble and package products according to work instructions and schedules.
  • Operate hand tools and production equipment (e.g., presses, drills, robots, vacuum lifts).
  • Use scanning equipment and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Train new technicians in your cell.
  • Participate in Kaizen events and layout planning.
  • Share ideas to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Train new employees on PPE and safety protocols.
  • Report safety concerns to leadership.

 

What You Bring

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Skills & Traits:
    • Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
    • Dependable, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
    • Ability to follow safety procedures and work under tight deadlines.
    • Basic computer skills.

 

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to walk, stand, lift (up to 50 lbs), bend, and reach throughout the shift.
  • Work performed in a manufacturing facility that is not fully climate controlled.
  • Overtime may be required to meet customer demands.
