Job Description

Position Summary

Technicut Tool (TCT) is seeking a CMM Programmer/Operator for our Windsor, Ontario location. If you are looking for an organization and career that will match your strong work ethic and passion for success, Technicut Tool is a great place to start! 

*This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am - 3:30pm with overtime available on some Saturday's according to business demand*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operates CMM machine and maintains CMM work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.
  • Performs all programming of the CMM Machine.
  • Drives process improvement by providing insight on programming changes and product calibration.
  • Analyzes and interprets blueprints, models, evaluation sheets, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications, inspection and testing procedures, adjustments, and certification methods.
  • Collects and analyzes inspection data and makes computations as necessary to determine inspection results and performs first article inspections.
  • Communicates information to all team members; Inspection results, part status, updates, and specific instructions, and participates in PFMEA activities. 
  • Other inspections as required.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Two-year associate degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years' experience running CMM machine(s) using Calypso software is required. 
  • Experience running DMIS software.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office and capable of using paperless systems.
  • Ability to conduct tests to ensure products and materials meet the established quality specification.
  • Adept at planning and developing standards, procedures, and best practices for ensuring product quality.
  • Position available to Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents ONLY.
