Performs various clinical, microscopic and bacteriological tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Receives or obtains specimens for analysis and applies techniques used in fields of bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, immunohematology, serology, chemical and morphological examinations and records test results in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures and regulatory agency requirements (FDA, AABB, CLIA, etc.) to achieve the best quality patient care.
This is a benefited, full time, day-shift position, totaling 40 hours per week. Hours are typically 9:30am - 6:00pm.
Must be willing to help cover shifts as needed between the hours of 5:30am -8:00pm, share call schedule, holiday, and weekend rotations. Position is eligible for applicable shift differentials.
