SUMMARY OF JOB:

Pennswood Village, a nationally recognized retirement community in Newtown, PA is opening beautiful new dining venues on our 82-acre campus. Staff is treated as very much part of the extended Pennswood family, a culture of kindness and respect in the Quaker tradition.

Under direct supervision, the Server is responsible for providing direct dining service including

• Assists with daily dining service functions


• Assist in patient tray assembly


• Provide direct dining service according to established guidelines


• Follow all safety and sanitation rules and regulations


• Bus and reset the dining rooms according to established guidelines


• Cashiering: operate touch screen register, process meal counts, total daily receipts?


• Operate and clean grill, Panini grill and sandwich preparation, coffee brewing equipment, soda dispenser and juice machine


• Serve meals and assist residents with menu selections


• Assemble and deliver nourishments for skilled and personal care facilities


• Clean and sanitize assigned work areas


• Maintain an appropriate professional appearance at all times
