The Team
We are currently looking for an Analyst (m/f/d), Relationship Management to sit within our Private Equity Performance Improvement (PEPI) team in Munich. A&M’s PEPI practice focuses on serving upper middle market and large cap private equity firms who have engaged A&M to help improve financial and operating results at their portfolio companies.
How you will contribute
- Conducting in-depth company research including general overviews, review of services, competition and industry segments
- Track upcoming M&A activity by monitoring several news sources
- Managing the Point of View (POV) process
- Implementing basic financial analysis including profit & loss review, cost trend analysis and benchmarking against industry peers
- Supporting and developing outside-in analyses on investment targets and on Private Equity portfolio companies
- Implementing new business development and generating new clients by elaborating pitches but also client proposals and marketing collateral
- As an internal account manager, you ensure the smooth development of key accounts and evaluate their progress through data consolidation and participating in key account review meetings
Qualifications
- Master‘s degree (ideally Financial or Business background)
- Previous experience in Consulting or Banking environment with a keen interest in the Private Equity market
- Strong analytical skills with a basic financial acumen including understanding of financial statements, key financial metrics and revenue & expenses trends
- Excellent interpersonal skills, to be able to form strong working relationships with senior members of the team
- Strong communication and analytical capabilities
- Good Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Fluency in English and German
