What You'll Do:

  • Provide support services based on individualized Care Plans created by licensed health professionals (required)
  • Assist clients with personal care activities including hygiene, mobility, eating, dressing, shaving, and transfers
  • Maintain a clean and safe home environment through light housekeeping
  • Support health-related tasks such as toileting assistance, mobility support, range of motion exercises, and basic medical monitoring (e.g., temperature, pulse, blood pressure)
  • Assist with dietary preparation and reinforce wellness goals
  • Demonstrate attentiveness, reliability, and a commitment to improving each client's quality of life

What You'll Need:

  • Must be over the age of 18 (required)
  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience (required)
  • Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon employment
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a sincere desire to care for the elderly
  • Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test
