The Role

This is a hands-on Venue Manager role where you’ll lead the day-to-day running and performance of the venue across team, operations, and financial results.

Working from an already strong foundation, you’ll be responsible for maintaining consistency, delivering against clear targets, and taking the venue to the next level, improving performance commercially, operationally, and culturally through strong leadership and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Team & Leadership

  • Lead and develop a high-performing venue team, working closely with the Head Chef
  • Set clear expectations and ensure accountability to performance standards across the venue
  • Build a strong, consistent culture across the whole team

Performance & Operations

  • Deliver on revenue, labour, and cost targets
  • Manage Prime Costs (COGS + Labour)
  • Oversee daily service and ensure smooth, efficient operations
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to align kitchen performance

Guest Experience

  • Lead and elevate the guest experience, ensuring every service delivers at a high level
  • Set the tone on the floor; driving energy, pace, and strong service standards
  • Turn guest challenges into positive outcomes through confident, hands-on leadership
  • Use feedback to refine and continuously improve the overall experience

What you bring:

  • Proven experience as a Venue Manager or Senior Manager in a high-volume environment
  • Strong understanding of cost control and financial performance
  • Confident in leading teams across the venue and aligning performance across all areas
  • Hands-on operator who leads from the floor
  • Able to hold standards and drive accountability in a fast-paced environment

What You’ll Get:

  • A high-performing venue with a strong foundation already in place
  • Real ownership of performance and decision-making
  • The opportunity to shape how the venue operates and continues to evolve
  • Supported by a committed Operations Manager and leadership team, with clear alignment on performance
  • Opportunity to grow within a well-established hospitality group
  • Performance-based bonus structure aligned to venue results
  • Staff discounts across Future Hospitality Group venues
  • Wellness benefits to support work-life balance
  • Ski pass discounts and local perks

What success looks like

  • Financial targets achieved and Prime Costs controlled
  • A stable, high-performing team
  • Consistent, smooth service across all shifts
  • Strong alignment across the venue
  • A venue that consistently performs at a high level across service, team, and financial results
