Position Summary

 

The MRI Technologist administers image scans on patients to produces quality images of the designated areas of the body.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates the MRI scanner to produce 3-D images.


• Maintains the MRI scanning equipment in good operating order. Cleans and maintains the CAT room.


• Responsible for following up with patient after procedures.


• Responsible for anticipating potential patient complications regarding IV contrast.


• Performs other tasks as assigned.


• Ability to work between Newport News and Williamsburg offices
