Job Description

As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the accounting activities of our organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Nokia's accounting principles and internal controls, as well as external regulations. You will be a key contributor to our financial operations, working closely with various teams to maintain accurate financial records and reports.

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and process accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Nokia's principles and internal controls.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses, providing insights to management.
  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform account reconciliations and identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries.
  • Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations, implementing changes as required.
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a multinational company.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
