    We are seeking a Spanish Immersion Interventionist who enjoys supporting students through targeted academic assistance in a Spanish Immersion setting. This part-time role focuses on helping students strengthen foundational skills, close learning gaps, and grow with confidence.

    The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and comfortable using student data to guide intervention support. This role will work closely with classroom teachers and support staff to provide coordinated academic support for students.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan and provide targeted academic intervention support for students in the Spanish Immersion program
    • Use student data to identify needs, monitor progress, and adjust intervention support accordingly
    • Deliver small-group and/or individual intervention support based on student needs
    • Differentiate instruction to support a wide range of learners
    • Collaborate with classroom teachers and support staff to coordinate student support
    • Build positive relationships with students and create a supportive learning environment
    • Maintain accurate records of student performance, intervention plans, and growth
    • Communicate with families regarding student progress when appropriate
    • Participate in school-wide initiatives, meetings, and professional development as applicable

    Qualifications

    • Valid Michigan teaching certificate required
    • Elementary certification required, such as ZG, Lower Elementary, or Upper Elementary
    • Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred due to the Spanish Immersion setting
    • Experience with Spanish Immersion, bilingual instruction, language development, or intervention support preferred
    • Strong understanding of intervention practices, differentiated instruction, and foundational academic skill development
    • Ability to use student data to guide academic support
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and colleagues
    • Willingness to contribute to a small school environment and community
