Overall Purpose of Position:

  • This position is to support the product definition and system/applications engineering works.
  • This position will focus on product definition to ensure successful product development. The AE also provides customer supports

Primary Job Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Responsible for defining power management products
  • Perform bench validations/characterizations
  • Build simulation model or hardware for proof of concepts
  • Provide applications engineer supports

Qualifications:

  • Strong background in power electronics
  • Experience with power electronics topologies
  • Experience in designing isolated dc-dc converters and gate driver circuits
  • Experience with analysis and simulation tool
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Master or Ph.D in Electrical engineering or related area
